There were so many orbs (caused by lens refractions, dust particles, etc.) found in the photographs taken in the
museum, that we do not mention them individually in this section of the investigation report. See the Unusual Photos
section of the report for details on those photographs.
You'll notice throughout these photographs that the Strawberry Hill Museum was decorated
for the Christmas Season at the time of our investigation. The museum is decorated for Christmas from November
and into February.
All of the pictures above are from the Nun's Hallway in the Nun's Dormitory. The former dorm rooms have been turned
into display rooms for the museum. Some of the walls have been removed to make larger rooms. Our map is just a
general representation of this area of the building, as we were unable to make a scale map in the time we were
present there. All of these rooms house museum displays, including mannequins.
The Nun's Hallway has been the scene of reported auditory phenomenon, like the unexplained sound of music. A locked
door to a room called the "Pope's Room" was found unlocked and open...when the only key was locked in
a safe. See the Background section of our investigation report for more details.
As you can see by the number of photos we took here, we focused a lot of our time at the Strawberry Hill Museum
in this hallway and the rooms along it. We spent a lot of time here, took a lot of pictures, and recorded a lot
of video and audio tape. In the bottom-right photo Mike Cross has just placed a stationary audio recorder in place
and is taking a picture of its placement. |

The birthing room is a very small room right at the top of the formal stairs leading
from the 1st to the 2nd floor. We spent very little time here, but found it interesting that at some point in the
buildings history this little room was used as a place for women to give birth. |

This room was part of the original family residence and early on in the existence
of the orphanage it was used as the children's dormitory. Over the history of the orphanage, additional dormitory
space was added...but this was the original children's room. |

The Master Bedroom was beautifully decorated. A female presence has been felt in
this room (see the Background section of our investigation report for details.) The ancient pipes that carry the
boiler heat throughout the house were very prominent in this room...behind the bed and under the bay windows. |
We called the 2nd floor hallway the Dormitory Hallway. It was made up of a long hall
running east to west through the 2nd floor, with some strange side rooms leading to the servant's quarters and
a thin winding stairway to the 3rd floor. The wide main stairway to the 3rd floor is also in this hallway, near
the doorway into the tower bedroom.
One of our investigators felt what can only be described as a presence in this hallway. Based on this perception,
we did place a trigger object in this hallway and did some EVP work. For more details on this matter, see the Strange

This large room was one two extremely thin dorm rooms for the children housed in
the orphanage. The wall between the rooms was removed to create a larger room for the museum's displays. |
| We did not spend a large amount of time in this room. |

This stairway leads from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor and is out-fitted with a
mechanized chair-lift. The tiled walls created some interesting effects on the wall at the bottom of the stairs.

We called this long room the Girls' Dormitory, because portions of it at one time
served that purpose. But this is another large room created by the removal of interior walls, and this large room
is made up of space that was also a boys' dormitory and a set to large bathrooms. The museum staff reported that
while the museum was closed and locked up at night, someone or something disturbed the Christmas decorations in
this room. See the Background section of this investigation report for more details.

The building, with its 42 rooms, was just too large to fully investigate during the
four hour investigation. There were three areas of the first floor where we did not take still photographs...
BEDROOM & TOWER - This
bedroom was nicely decorated and the 2nd floor of the building's tower was accessible through an archway in this
room. There were no reports of activity in this room, and we focused very little time here.
BATH - We never entered
this bathroom. It appeared to be in some disrepair and closed to any visitors to the museum. The doorway to the
bathroom was covered with a drape hung over the inside of the door. This drape appeared to move on its own in an
interesting way during our investigations. See the Strange Events section of our investigation report for more
details.
SERVANT'S QUARTERS - This
portion of the house was where the family's servant's lived when this was a family household. A thin winding staircase
gave easy access to the old kitchen on the first floor and a back hallway of the 3rd floor from these quarters.
They are currently in disrepair and used for storage. This area is not open to visitors to the museum.
UNEXPLORED AREA - We never
made it into this portion of the building and never discussed this area with the museum staff. |
